The two newest horses are very bonded with the mare relying on the gelding for reassurance and support. So, it was important that we housed them together. Thanks to your generous support of our efforts to purchase corral panels for additional dining suites earlier this summer, it was easy to add a suite to our quarantine corral. This allows the two horses to spend day and night together with the gelding only going into the dining suite for meals. This should help him gain needed weight without adding pounds to the mare.
