Many of you will recognize Sherriff Elvis, a long-time supporter of our efforts to care for horses and other animals that have been rescued from abuse, abandonment and neglect. In May of 2023 Elvis had to have his left kidney removed because of a cancerous tumor. Unfortunately, his remaining kidney does not process protein correctly, so he is only daily medication. Now, more than a year after his initial diagnosis, Elvis is still doing well. We hope that Elvis will share some of his miracle magic to help us reach our “Keeping Our Promise” Match.
A herdful of thanks goes out to everyone who has already donated towards our $35,000 “Keeping Our Promise” Match. This match is the result of two extraordinary donors committed to maximizing their support of our horses. These two donors have now been joined by Sherriff Elvis who has pledged $10,000 toward our $35,000 goal. Thanks to his support, we have less than $15,000 to raise to make the full match!
Thanks to your generosity and Sherriff Elvis, we have already raised $20,000 of the $35,000 Keeping Our Promise Match. We hope we can count on you to help us raise the remaining $15,000. Any gift, regardless of size will count towards this match and help us celebrate the two newest horses we have promised a furever home to. Remember each $1 you donate becomes $3 because of the double match!
Donations can be made on-line (clink on link below) or by mail: Horses of Tir Na Nog; P.O. Box 19131; San Diego, CA 92159.
