Twister

Twisters Gold Strike, U.S. Border Patrol, retired, arrived at the ranch in June of 2018. This gorgeous fellow was born in Dubois, Wyoming on May 14, 1994. On June 7, 2000 “Twister” joined the U.S. Border Patrol where he had an incredible career. During the first six years of his retirement, he has been fortunate to have been cared for by the McGinnis Family. You can tell by looking at this gorgeous fellow that he has been loved and cared for. We are grateful to the McGinnis Family for entrusting this very special horse to our care.

Twister is very much in charge of our “Geldings Corral.” Given the mischief the boys can get into, we are grateful to have Twister in charge of the group.

The four other retired U.S. Border Patrol horses in our care are truly his legacy
