Tiān was one of six horses that arrived at Horses of Tir Na Nog on February 27, 2026. They came from a local rescue that had closed.
This beautiful boy was 21 years old when he arrived at our sanctuary.
His is bonded with his best friend, Xīng. In celebration of their arrival being at the start of the Chinese Year of the Horse, both of them have Chinese names.
Xīng’s name means “star.” We thought it only right these boys’ names represent their great friendship. Tiān (pronounced tee-ahn) means “the heavens.” His is the sky to Xīng’s star.
Their arrival also coincided with Lunar year of the Fire Horse, a time of passion and independence.
Tiān has a history of ulcers, possibly from past stress. However, he has been thriving and loves playing with his friends Gulliver and Harold. Tiān and Xīng also love flirting with their neighbors Tammy and Kathy.
We are so honored to be able to have given this bonded pair a new life at their forever home.
