Roy Rogers arrived with Dale Evans from San Bernardino Animal Care in June of 2020.  While unnamed at the time, we were told that the gelding had lameness issues, qualifying him for exit only to a qualified Adoption Partner.  They noted that he had an old fracture on the left shoulder that did not heal properly.  We were offered the opportunity to rescue either Roy or Dale, or both. Obviously, we chose both.

At the time we had no idea that these two were a bonded pair, much less just how bonded they were.  These two are inseparable.  We are so grateful that your support allowed us to offer them a forever home, together.
