Raelee

HiCaliber Horse Rescue left their property on December 13, 2018.  Through the amazing effort of their Adoptions Team, ALL of the horses made it off the property.  Unfortunately, one companion horse, Raelee only found a temporary spot, not a permanent one.  This gave Raelee the dubious distinction of being the last Companion Horse (unrideable horse) from HiCaliber in need of a home.  This beautiful girl was saved from slaughter when HiCaliber purchased her from the Ontario Auction on August 22, 2017.  Between her original rescue and coming to us in December of 2018, she waited a long time to find her forever home.

At the time she came to Horses of Tir Na Nog in 2018, Raelee was only fifteen years old.  She has arthritis in her left front knee, so her riding days were over before she came to the ranch.  Like so many of our horses, she requires daily pain medication.  While we are noticing changes in her knees, she continues to have a very high quality of life at the ranch, especially with her friend Smoki.
