Miss Piggy

Miss Piggy was our first pig at the ranch. She was actually placed in our care by the wonderful team at East County Large Animal Practice (ECLAP). She belonged to a client whose daughter’s dogs continually attached Miss Piggy, causing serious injuries. Miss Piggy was such a sweetheart that the staff was reluctant to euthanize her when the owner determined she could not keep Miss Piggy safe from the dogs. She arrived at the ranch in August of 2014. When she arrived she was terribly overweight, her belly literally dragged on the ground. While she still needs to lose weight, she is in much better shape than she was in 2014.
