Celebrate Little Christmas with a Gift to the O’hana Piggies!
Do you celebrate “Little Christmas”? Also known as The Epiphany, it is a Christian holiday celebrated on January 6th commemorating the visit of the Magi to Jesus. In Ireland, it’s specifically called Nollaig na mBan (“Women’s Christmas”), a day when women traditionally rest.
As an Irish, women-led nonprofit with a love of everything merry, we are of course celebrating the holiday! We thought, what better way to celebrate Little Christmas than with our little piggie O’hana.
We were so fortunate to have our goat sheds completed the week of Christmas thanks to your generosity.
When these pigs arrived, they were somewhat unexpected. We were able to have a predator safe pen for them. However, we would love for them to have a weatherproof shed of their own.
With the upcoming winter storms, we want our pig O’hana to have a warm, safe place to rest from the rain and the cold.
From now until Tuesday January 6, we will be raising funds to build this shed. We need to raise $2,900 to construct to the shed.
Help us to spread the word about our Little Christmas fundraiser!
Please help us give this gift to Lehua, Momi, Moana, Pua, Kaipo, Kona, Lilo, and Nani.
