Donate to Joanne's Fund
"Joanne" came to us an unnamed, emaciated rescue from County of San Diego Department of Animal Services on November 1, 2009. Her sponsor named her Joanne in memory of her mother, Joanne Siebenaler. Sadly, Joanne's time with us was tragically short. In response to this loss, Joanne's sponsor used her sponsorship funds to set up a special account for future Department of Animal Services horses in need of immediate placement with us. In 2010, this fund allowed us to say "YES!" to both Ella and Isis. Donations to this fund replenish it so that we can always say "YES!" to horses taken in by Department of Animal Services. Farrier Day
We also invite community members to sponsor a "Farrier Day." Every seven weeks our farriers visit the ranch trim hooves and check for lameness. A typically farrier visit costs $1,300. With seven Farrier Days each year, this represents a significant portion of our annual budget. Please consider sponsoring a Farrier Day with a donation of $1,000.
