Thank you so much to everyone who came to our first Golfing Fore! Goats on June 14. The event was a success. It was great to have our supporters come to the ranch to see all our ranch residents. Our sponsors and volunteers helped us have such an amazing event.
A herd-full of thanks to everyone who attended Golfing Fore! Goats. Thank you for all you do to help support Horses of Tir Na Nog. We are so grateful that we were able to put on this fundraiser for our goats. This fundraiser has helped us get closer to getting night pens for all of our goats, sheep and llamas.
Also, a big thank you to San Diego Popup Mini Golf for making Golfing Fore! Goats come to life with their 18 unique and localized minigolf holes that were positioned around the ranch. Themes for the minigolf holes included Balboa Park, Missions, San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Miramar’s Top Gun school and Old Town among others. Very creative and well done!
Additionally, this on-site event provided interactions and enrichment for our horses, burros, goats and sheep who enjoyed the unusual activities and ranch visitors. Goat ambassador Goliath especially enjoyed being the center of attention with so many animal lovers.
