Daisy was our second pig, arriving at the end of 2015. Daisy was relinquished to Animal Services due to her owner being unable to care for her. She was at the shelter for nearly 4 months. She had a bite on her record. A woman was interested in possibly adopting her. During their interaction, Daisy was sniffing her toes and decided to play “this little piggy” and the woman “cried wee wee wee all the way home.” Of course, this is one of many very good reasons for not wearing flip flops around livestock.

Daisy was able to loose the extra weight. She is quite a diva. Once Mayham arrived, Daisy surprised us with the perfect ‘sit” behavior. She dearly misses her friend, Miss Piggy who we lost in 2025. However, Daisy loves the other members of the sounder of swine and they all love to sun bathe together.
