Horses of Tir Na Nog

Gender: Male

Breed: Feral pig cross

Approximate Date of Birth: 1/1/2010

Mayham came to us from Animal Services in April of 2016. He was rescued by Animal Services when an apartment house  owner discovered him living in one of his apartments, following the eviction of one of his renters. Can you imagine entering an apartment and finding a very large miniature pig? It appeared that Mayham lived in the apartment full time which is a very sad situation for a pig. And Mayham is a very active, curious boy. He loves people almost as much as he loves food. Sometimes his enthusiasm for life gets the better of him, but his antics always add a smile to our days.

Mayham’s name was chosen from a selection of names contributed at our Help a Horse Day Open House events in 2016. We often do wonder if we had named this character Bob, he wouldn’t wreck as muck havoc as he does!

We create a safe haven for horses that have few options remaining, thereby ensuring them a better quality of life.
